Season 2011

Thursday 7 April 2011

The Basement Birds will launch The ARTBAR season, performing under the stars overlooking the Gallery Wetland.

This unique teaming of four of Australia’s premier singer/songwriters promises to be something special, featuring Kevin Mitchell (Jebadiah, Bob Evans), Eskimo Joe frontman Kav Temperley and solo artists Josh Pyke and Steve Parkin. The quartet will perform songs from their 2010 self-titled album, including Waiting For You, Holly, the breezy Skin Of The Sky and the toe tappingly uptempo Bustop, along with a few surprises thrown into the mix.

Ben Witt from The Chemist will kick off the nights performance at 7.15pm.

This exclusive Perth performance is not to be missed.

Tickets on sale now through BOCS Ticketing. Ticket price:$46.00 or call 9484 1133.
Tickets also available through the Gallery Shop during Gallery opening hours.
