Access
The Art Gallery of Western Australia is located in the Perth Cultural Centre.
Our opening hours are 10.00am - 5.00pm daily, except for Anzac Day (25 April) when we open at 1.00pm. We are closed on Good Friday and Christmas Day.
Entry to the Art Gallery of Western Australia, is free. However, a fee may be payable for admission to some major exhibitions.
Disability Access and Inclusion Plan
The Art Gallery of Western Australia has adopted a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan' (DAIP) to ensure that all visitors, including people with disabilities, can access Gallery services and facilities. The plan is subject to review and will be amended as priorities and needs change.

Wheelchairs
A walking frame, manual wheelchairs and an electric buggy are available for visitor’s use. These are provided free of charge from the Gallery Reception. Bookings are advisable to ensure availability. Bookings 08 9492 6600
Access Toilets
Located in the main Gallery building (on the ground floor adjacent to the Gallery Shop).
Lifts
In both the main and adjacent Centenary Galleries enable access to all gallery levels.
Parking
ACROD parking is available in the Perth Cultural Centre car parks.
Taxi and Bus Access
Taxis and buses are able to drive into the Cultural Centre to within 30m of the main Gallery entrance. Inform driver to enter James Street Mall via Beaufort Street. Reception staff will call taxis on request.
Public Phone
The nearest public pay phone is located at the train station.
Sensational Art
Customised activities for sensory, intellectually and physically disabled visitors are regularly available as part of the general schedule of programs.
Large Print formats - Some didactics are also available in large print formats.
Touch Tours - Hands on tours of works from the Collection are scheduled throughout the year for sight impaired visitors.

Families
A parents’ room is situated in the main concourse, to the right of the central staircase.
Children’s Activities are scheduled throughout the year and during school holidays. Ask at the Information desk for details of - Family Days and Look and See trails.
Public Tours
Free tours of the Collection and special exhibitions are presented throughout the week.
