Year 12 Perspectives is an exhibition which displays and recognises the magnificent achievements of Year 12 TEE Art and Art and Design students from across Western Australia, and has grown to be one of the Gallery’s most popular exhibitions. It is a celebration of the talents and creativity of our next generation of artists and provides audiences with a unique opportunity to see the world through the eyes of today’s youth.

As part of a cultural exchange, the exhibition also features works by Japanese students; in turn, a selection of work by Western Australian students from Year 12 Perspectives goes to Japan for exhibition.

Each November, a panel of judges select from a vast collection of students’ works.  This has now been completed and the students whose entries were chosen are on display at the Art Gallery of WA.
