Popular author and Perth resident, Colin Falconer, shares his personal journey of investigation and discovery as he sought to separate historical fact from mythical fantasy in the research for his book, When We Were Gods: A Novel of Cleopatra. He discusses the truths revealed by his research, how he turned this knowledge into an historical novel, and the enduring popular fascination with ancient Egypt and its infamous last ruler, Cleopatra VII.

Every member of the audience enters the free draw to win a copy of When We Were Gods: A Novel of Cleopatra, signed by the author.
