FAMILY EVENTS

A highlight for younger visitors will be the Tomb Room containing a range of interactive multimedia tools and hands-on activities for them to explore. The Tomb Room will also provide the venue for Egyptian-themed children’s activities on selected weekends and during the October school holidays. Activities will include writing hieroglyphs, magic, story-telling, Egyptian God mask-making, games, puppet shows, mini-theatre, music and dancing.
For the duration of the exhibition, children will also be able to participate in a Discovery Trail which will encourage them to discover the mysteries of this ancient civilisation, as they too journey from the land of the living, through the Underworld and into the Afterlife.
