This exhibition displayed for the first time Norman Lindsay's complete set of 200 published etchings. These were presented against a small collection of Lindsay's paintings, watercolours and drawings, which had been sourced from interstate and local lenders.

Norman Lindsay is one of Australia's best-known artists and in addition to his exceptional ability as an etcher, he was also a talented illustrator, painter and author.

His etchings were inspired by myth and legend, his own imaginary worlds, music, literature and of course the female form.
