Singing at the Gallery

Whether you’re a seasoned chorister or an absolute beginner, AGWA wants to share with you the unique experience of singing in an opera chorus. Over four classes, which you can book as a set or individually, you will be introduced to a range of Italian repertoire inspired by the exhibition. Each class will include a chance to glimpse the exhibition.

The Corsini Collection: Revisited seeks to challenge art historical motifs through a contemporary prism, by taking A Window on Italy – The Corsini Collection as a starting point. Local contemporary artists are invited to select an existing work and create a new one in response to the historical works that resonate with them.
Participating artists include Danna Torres Bennz, Melissa Clements, Saleheh Gholami, Jarrad Levy, Pip Lewi and Lauren Rodriguez.
Curated by Aisyah Sumito in mentorship with Dunja Rmandic.

Learn about the Corsini family and hear the stories behind the works and their artists.

Bookings are essential, and 3 weeks’ notice is required to make the arrangements. AGWA can coordinate a tour for a minimum 8 people per booking; AGWA Members minimum of 4 people per booking.
