The Contemporary Art Group


The aim of the Contemporary Art Group (CAG) is to bring together an exclusive group of contemporary art enthusiasts and collectors. This group will meet in a social setting with the Art Gallery Director, curators and industry professionals to view and celebrate contemporary art.

To gain maximum benefit from inclusion in the CAG, numbers will be limited to 21, each making an annual tax-deductible gift of $10,000.

Opportunities

  • Membership of the CAG gives you the opportunity to meet curators and industry professionals to discuss works, trends and gallery collections*
  • Tours of private art collections in the greater Perth area*
  • Tours of galleries in the greater Perth area*
  • Trips to interstate or overseas galleries, biennales or private collections*

Annual Donation

The annual donation of $10,000 will be used to provide essential support for the Contemporary Art program at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, in particular the acquisition of new contemporary works. Donations are tax deductible.

Those donating to the Contemporary Art Group are automatically entitled to Life Membership of the Art Gallery of Western Australia Foundation if they are not already Foundation members.

Existing Foundation members may qualify for a higher category of membership within the Art Gallery of Western Australia Foundation through annual donations to the Contemporary Art Group.
