AGWA Foundation

The Art Gallery of Western Australia holds one of Australia's finest art collections, including one of the most important Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art collections in the country and the pre-eminent collection of Western Australian art. This is largely due to the generosity of AGWA Foundation supporters.

Since the Foundation’s inception in 1989, our generous supporters have led the way in providing consistent and vital funding for the art and artists of Western Australia. Over the past 30 years it has had an extraordinary impact, facilitating more than 80% of all acquisitions at AGWA.

Supporting the broadening knowledge, appreciation, and education of art, Foundation supporters provide impactful experiences and extraordinary moments for the community of Western Australia.

Be part of the next chapter of AGWA Foundation’s inspiring journey, as we enter a new phase of the Gallery’s development.

Donating to AGWA and effecting positive change in an area you’re passionate about is easier than you think. One hundred percent of your donation is invested in the area you specify, ensuring your gift makes a real impact where it matters most.
